Most catalogs sort trips by region or by price. This one sorts them by how much of the week your dog is actually allowed into, because that is the thing people call us about and the thing that is hardest to find out on your own. A property can call itself dog friendly and still have a dining room the dog cannot sit in, a boat tour the dog cannot board, and a trailhead where dogs are turned around at the sign. None of that is dishonest. It is just information nobody puts on the front page.
So we put it on the front page. Each of the eleven trips below carries one of three answers, and the answer is about the itinerary as we would build it for you, not about the property's marketing. We read the actual house rules, the actual ground you would walk on, and the actual activities we would put in the week, and then we count what closes. If a single item closes, the trip cannot be filed as all-of-it, no matter how good the rest of it is. That is the whole method, and it is why some very pleasant weeks sit in the middle answer.
What the three answers mean, and what they cost you
The three answers are not quality grades. A part-of-it week can be the better vacation if the closed days are days you wanted to spend in a museum anyway. What the filing does is tell you in advance where you will need a plan, so the plan is yours to make and not a surprise on a Tuesday morning.
All-of-it means nothing on the itinerary shuts a dog out. Self catering accommodation, open ground you can walk from the door, your own car for every mile of it. No shared dining room to negotiate, no ticketed site in the week, no stretch where somebody has to wait outside. These are the trips where you genuinely never separate.
Almost-all-of-it means one or two named items on the week are closed, and we name them before you book. A single ticketed site. One restaurant worth the evening. A stretch of shoreline that posts a seasonal restriction. You will know which items and which days, in writing, in the figure we send you.
Part-of-it means whole days are closed, and in practice that usually means city days. A week built around a downtown will have hours where the dog is not with you, and arranging what happens during those hours is yours to sort out, not something this office does. These trips carry the lowest figures on the site, which is not a coincidence: self catering outside a town costs less than a room in one.

Tell us which trip and roughly which weeks, and we will come back with a figure and a written list of what closes. There is nothing to pay this office at any stage. The property pays us a commission after you have traveled, which is why the figure you get is the property's figure and not the property's figure with something added to it.
Two things are worth putting in the message. The first is your dog's size and whether you travel with one dog or two, because both change which units a property will give you and both change the figure. The second is how much of the week you want open. If all-of-it is not negotiable for you, say so and we will not send you anything filed lower, even if it is cheaper and even if it is lovely.
Anything you write lands here and gets read before that working day is out. Putting a number to it runs two to four working days, because we are asking a property a real question about real dates and waiting for a real answer.
